Scoil Íosa, Ballyhaunis, is a co educational mainstream primary school catering for children from 4 yrs to 13 yrs. It was formed with the amalgamation of St Mary’s Boys National School and St Joseph’s Convent of Mercy National School. The school moved into a newly extended and renovated premises at Abbeyquarter Ballyhaunis on August 28th 2012. Scoil Íosa has an enrolment of 360 pupils , 23 teachers and 4 Special Needs Assistant.
